Cultural Experiences
The Hunter Valley has a lot more to offer than wine and food experiences. It is also home of Mount Yengo, holding spiritual and ceremonial significance for a number of Aboriginal groups and is sometime referred to as the Uluru of the East Coast. The mountain is located in the World-heritage listed Yengo national park. It can be accessed through the historic village of Wollombi with its beautiful buildings dating back from the 19th century and where more of the local culture can be learnt.
