Cedars Location – Hunter Valley Accommodation Cedars is approximately 2 hours drive from Sydney CBD, 10 minutes from Cessnock and 20 minutes to the heart of Pokolbin (Hunter Valley Gardens Resort). To get to Cedars from Cessnock (from the F3 freeway) Turn left onto Wollombi Road - there are different ways to get there; 1. From Cessnock -Once on Wollombi Road, turn right onto Mount View Road, follow the road and head south past the Mount View wineries - Savannah Estate, Mount View Estate, Petersons Family Wines, Briar Ridge, further on past Tallavera Grove, keep going up to the Bimbadeen Lookout. About 30 metres after the lookout, turn left onto Mt View Rd and continue for 3.5 k's to Mitchells Road, which will be on your right. Cedars Mount View is the first property on the right - 60 Mitchells Road. 2. From Bellbird - Once on Wollombi Road, keep heading south driving through Bellbird, past the Bellbird Hotel and newsagency, turn right onto Kendall St, follow the Kendall St (it becomes Bimbadeen Road leading upto Bimbadeen Lookout and then turn left onto Mt View Rd just after the Lookout. 3. From Millfield - You can drive in through Millfield either from Cessnock along Wollombi Rd, or Sandy Creek Road, or from Wollombi (Route 33 from Peats Ridge). Once you arrive at Millfield, having past the bridge, and before you get to the village shop and petrol station, turn left onto Mt View Rd and travel for 5k's until you reach Mitchells Road on your left.
